Relaxing and enjoying the view, music and buffet lunch. Beach toys are provided.

Stand-up paddleboarding is optional for extra charge. Board and kayak rental is available for $35 for two hours by a partner company in a walking distance on the same beach.

Short stop at the scenic overlook on the Continental Divide at the top of Independence Pass.

Swimming is possible, but we recommend using wetsuits. A quick dip in the chilly water more likely will happen during paddleboarding.

Lightweight clothing, windproof jacket, comfortable footwear, towel, sunscreen, sunglasses, and sun protection (hat, face buff, etc). Any beverages besides the water we provide, which you can store in our coolers of ice. There will be a quick stop at the local general store in Twin Lakes where you can purchase alcohol. We serve a full meal during your trip.

Lightweight clothing is appropriate. Wear a swimsuit underneath if you’d like to catch some rays or jump in the lake.

Bring an extra layer of warm clothing such as a sweatshirt or windbreaker. The wind can get strong, sometimes unexpectedly.

Footwear: Flip-flops, sandals or water shoes for the lake and comfortable hiking or tennis shoes for hiking and for the ride.

Sun Protection! Hats, sunglasses, and face buffs are good to have. We’ll be on open water at 9200′ elevation, so the sun is strong here.

If you plan on paddleboarding please bring an extra set of quick-drying clothes, because there’s a decent chance you’ll get wet.

Drinks: We provide water, sodas and choices of alcoholic beverages (beer, hard setzer, wine).

Food: We provide snacks, cruditee, grilled salmon with salads and sides, brownies and fruits.

Please let us know about your food allergies! We do our best to accommodate your special diet.

Kids can have a different menu upon request.

You need to have a valid Colorado Fishing License (daily license is available for purchase at the local General Store for $9) and fishing gear (you can rent from us for $20 including baits). You’re welcome to bring your own gear. The lake has a lot of trout, and you can keep one catch per day. Size restrictions apply.

Because of safety concerns we do not allow fishing from the boat, but you’re welcome to fish from the shore or from one of our stand-up paddleboards.

We are not professional fishing guides, but we’ll try to get you to the right spots. You’ll be able to fish during the beach/paddleboarding time, which is approximately 2 hours.
